Published in London: Sampson Low, Marston & Co. Ltd. 1913. The book was originally published in 1844. The full title is Eöthen: or Traces of Travel Brought Home from the East.

Since this book was first published before 1923, it is in the public domain in the United States. By U.S. law, it entered the public domain 75 years after its first publication.

There are twelve original color illustrations by Frank Brangwyn. There are also over thirty black and white sketches.
